Restriction, miniature pieces of art work inspired by the restrictions of the pandemic.
Restriction was an online exhibition by The Correspondence Collective, hosted by Clayhill Arts. Over 1,000 pieces of miniature artwork were displayed in a set of old printer’s letterpress drawers, with the exhibition launched online by Clayhill Arts on Tuesday 23 March, a year on from the start of the first UK lockdown. Both the draws themselves, now archived at Clayhill Arts, and the online exhibition form and important document of our time in restriction.
Images and video from restriction can be found at the Clayhill Arts website.
And the archived exhibition is available to view on youTube.

County Hall, Leicestershire County Council Artworks Collection
Leicestershire County Council have three artworks in their collection commissioned as part of the Held in the Hand project. These small artworks were developed as objects of discovery to be manipulated and explored. Texture, weight, sound and movement are key elements in each piece.
For more detail about these pieces visit my profile on the Art UK website.
